Reopening Schools and it’s affects on students with disabilities- Triton SEPAC Meeting- August 25, 2020

with Guest Speaker David Magee, Special Education Administrator to the Triton Regional School District.

We would like to start this first blog with….”It’s been a long time, we are happy to be back!” and “We are here to support you and your families special education needs, especially during these unprecedented times.”

It’s been a few years since the Triton Regional School District has been fortunate enough to have a SEPAC in the district. The 2020/2021 Triton SEPAC Board is an “interim” board for the current school year. Next year (2021/2022) the board will open seats up, and formal elections for candidates will take place. In the meantime, we are a bunch of parents that are super excited to see the formation of the SEPAC starting strong, and we hope YOU will join us too!

We wanted to be sure that even families that couldn’t make our first zoom meeting would have access to the important discussions that took place during our meeting. We plan to post all future meetings on our YouTube Channel and will share them here on our website, and Facebook.

We also will include All meeting minutes on our website here.

If you want e-mail updates, and notifications of future Triton SEPAC events, fill out a membership form here.

If you ever have any questions, or need help navigating the Special Education world; we want you to know we are here for you. Please never hesitate to e-mail us!

Wishing you the very best in the months to come,

Triton SEPAC 2020/2021 Board-

Alecia Davison, Liz Sforza, Julie Godbout, Amy Solomon, & Amanda Cannon
